How to Follow Zeno’s Progress

Written by Eloy Wijlhuizen

For tasks with several steps, Zeno shows progress while it works. These updates help you see what Zeno is doing and decide whether to let the task continue, change direction, or stop it.

Give Zeno a Clear Task

Include the following details in your request:

  • The result that you need.

  • The files or other sources that Zeno should use.

  • Any requirements or limits that Zeno should follow.

  • The format that you want for the result.

For example: “Review the documents attached to this chat, list the points that need attention, and prepare a short summary. Keep all dates and names unchanged.”

A clear request helps Zeno organise work that has several connected steps.

Follow Zeno's Progress

While Zeno works, it shows progress between your message and its answer. You may see labels such as Thinking, Investigating, Analysing, Working…, or Planning next moves….

Expanded Thought activity showing visible task details, a statute lookup, and legal-source searches.

When an activity contains more detail, select it to review the available actions or sources. Completed activity may collapse into a shorter summary. Select the summary to open it again.

The timeline is a progress summary. It is not a complete record of every internal step.

To queue a new instruction, change direction, or stop the current work, follow Queue, Redirect, or Stop a Task.

Always review the final answer and any created document before you use it.
