Zeno displays this message when Source Awareness detects that an answer needs a legal source that Zeno believes is unavailable, only partly available, or disabled in your source selection.
This does not necessarily mean that the source does not exist. It means that Zeno does not believe it can use all the source material needed for your request.
Why a Source May Be Unavailable
A source may be unavailable because:
The relevant jurisdiction or source type is not currently included in Zeno’s legal database.
Zeno has only part of the material needed to answer the question.
The source is available in Zeno but is disabled in your source selection.
What to Do
First, review your source selection. Enable any relevant available sources, then ask your question again.
If Zeno still reports that a required source is unavailable, treat the response as general guidance rather than a fully sourced legal conclusion. Verify the relevant authority independently before relying on the answer.
How Source Awareness Helps
Source Awareness checks whether Zeno believes it has access to the legal sources needed for your question. If it detects that coverage is missing, partial, or disabled, Zeno tells you before presenting the answer.
