Use a Rulebook to review one document against a repeatable set of requirements. A Rulebook contains one or more Checks. Each Check tells Zeno what to assess in the document.
Zeno shows a result for each Check, together with its reasoning and available sources. Review important findings against the original document before acting on them.
Create a Rulebook
Open Presets.
Select New, then Create Rulebook. Zeno opens a new chat and adds a Rulebook command to the message box.
Describe what you want the Rulebook to check. To give Zeno an example document or other source material, select Add to prompt and attach the file.
Send your instruction.
Review the generated Checks. Use Add Check or edit an existing Check to refine its title and requirement.
Select Save as Rulebook and give the Rulebook a clear name.
Keep each Check focused on one requirement. This makes the results easier to understand and helps you identify which criterion needs attention.
Run a Saved Rulebook
Open the Project that contains the document you want to review.
Start a new chat or open the conversation where you want to run the review.
In the message box, select Add to prompt, then Rulebook.
Choose a recently used Rulebook, or select Browse all Rulebooks and choose one from the catalogue.
Attach or select the document you want to review, then send the instruction.
When the Rulebook opens, confirm the document and select Run Checks if the Checks have not started.
Let Zeno finish the Checks before reviewing the results.
Review the Results
Completed Checks use these results:
Passed: Zeno assessed the requirement as met.
Needs Review: The result requires your attention.
Missing: Zeno could not find the required information.
A Check that does not complete reliably may show Unknown or Failed instead. Do not treat either result as a pass.
Open a Check to read its Requirements and Reasoning and to inspect any available sources. Compare important findings and citations with the original document before acting on them.
Rulebook findings help you review the document. They do not automatically change it. Make any required changes separately and review the revised document before relying on it.
Review Another Document
To apply the same Checks to another document, select Change Document, choose the new document and select Run Checks.
Find and Reuse Rulebooks
Browse all Rulebooks opens the Rulebook catalogue in Presets. Use My presets, Organisation or By Zeno to find the appropriate Rulebook.

Export a Completed Review
After the Checks finish, select Export to download the Rulebook review as a Word document. Review the exported findings and sources before sharing or relying on the file.
