Use Files to create folders and rename, move, copy, or delete items in a Project.
Open the intended Project before making a change. Your permissions and organisation settings determine which actions you can use. Read-only access lets you open and download existing files, but does not let you upload or change them. If an action is missing, ask the person who manages access to the Project.
Create a Folder
Select New in the Files header, then select New folder.
Enter a name in Folder name.
Press Enter.
Use a clear name so you and your colleagues can find the material later.
Rename a File or Folder
Right-click the item in Files.
Select Rename.
Enter the new name.
Press Enter to save it.
Press Escape while editing to cancel. After saving, check that the new name appears in the file list.
Move an Item to Another Folder
Right-click the file or folder in Files.
Select Move to.
In Choose destination, select the current Project if Zeno asks you to choose one.
Open the destination folder, or choose the Project's top level.
Select Move here.
Open the destination to check that the item is there.
Use Copy to to keep the original and create another copy. For movement between Projects, follow Move Chats and Files Between Projects. Moving a chat does not move its files; the movement guide explains how to keep the original referenced files with the chat.
Delete a File or Folder
Right-click the item in Files.
Select Delete.
Read the confirmation and check that you selected the intended item.
Select Delete to confirm, or Cancel to keep it.
If colleagues may need the item, cancel and check with them before deleting it. Check the file list after the action finishes.
If an Action Fails
Check the item's status, name, and location before trying again. For a move, check both the original location and the destination.
If you need Support, include the action and error message. Leave document contents out of the initial report. For upload failures, follow Upload Files and Folders.
